Do you know the life of Liu Xiu, Emperor Guangwu of Han Dynasty?
Liu Xiu (65438 BC+1October 15-March 29th, 57), the ancestor of the Han Dynasty, was born in Jiyang County, Nanyang County, and was the founding emperor of the Eastern Han Dynasty. He is a famous politician and strategist in the history of China. At the end of the new dynasty, Wang Mang, the sea broke and the world was in chaos. As a civilian, Liu Xiu of the former dynasty took advantage of this situation to fight in his hometown. In AD 25, Liu Xiu openly broke away from the regime that started a new stove and proclaimed himself emperor in Chiaki Minami Pavilion, Hebei Province. In order to show Liu's revival, he still takes "Han" as his country name, which is called "Eastern Han" in history. After 12 years of unified war, Liu Xiu eliminated the separatist forces in Kanto, Longyou and Xishu successively, ending the warlord melee and separatist situation that lasted for nearly 20 years since the end of Xinmang. During the thirty-three years of Liu Xiu's reign, he advocated Confucianism and respected honesty. The Eastern Han Dynasty was praised by later historians as "the most beautiful era of weathering and the most prosperous Confucianism" in the history of China. Liu Xiu died in the front hall of Nangong on the fifth day of February, at the age of 62. The testamentary edict said: "I am of no benefit to the people. Everything should be done according to Emperor Xiaowen's system and we must be frugal." Don't leave your city, don't send officials or mail letters of sympathy. After Liu Xiu's death, his son Ming Di Liu Zhuang succeeded to the throne. On the fifth day of March of the same year, Liu Xiu was buried in the original mausoleum, where he went to the temple names of Sai-jo and Emperor Guangwu of posthumous title.
