The Historical Evolution of Dream Pagodas
Dream Shwedagon Pagoda is located at the top of Leiyagang Mountain in mangshi, with an altitude of1079.6m.. It is said that Sakyamuni lived here when he was reincarnated as a golden rooster. The original Leiyashan stupa was destroyed during the Anti-Japanese War in 1942, and the Menghuan Pagoda in mangshi was also destroyed in 1966. Later, it was decided to combine the two towers and rebuild them, and named them Dream Tower.

On June 30th, 2004, the Dream Pagoda with a total investment of 55 million yuan broke ground.

On May 12, 2006, the Dream Pagoda held a ceremony to pay homage to the stupa and pay homage to the relics.

On May 1 2007, the main project was completed and the coronation ceremony was held.
