The Historical Evolution of Dongfeng Town
As early as around 3000 BC (Neolithic Age), there were ancestors living here, which belonged to Qimin in the Western Zhou Dynasty. Xie Bi, a native of Jian 'an Dun (now Guilin Village, Dongfeng) in the Southern Song Dynasty, was elected as the sixth Jinshi in Song Lizong during the reign of Kai Qingyuan. In the sixth year of Deyou in the Southern Song Dynasty, Xie Bi led 17000 people to fight against gold in the north, which wrote down the glorious history of Dongfeng. 19 13 Dongfeng is Yonghe Township, East District of Jian 'ou County. 194 1 to 1947, the southeast training class of the Kuomintang military commission and the southeast telecom class were held here.
