Content introduction:
The research included in this book is carefully selected according to the advice of authoritative experts in psychology textbooks, psychology magazines and many branches of psychology. Although there is no plan in advance for how many studies to choose, from a historical perspective and the length of this book, it seems just right to choose 40 studies, which may be the most famous, important or influential study in the history of psychology. I use the word "maybe" because many readers of this book may have different views on some of these options. There is no doubt that it is impossible to list 40 research reports that satisfy everyone.
About the author:
Roger? Dr Roger R Hawke is a professor of psychology at Mendocino College in the United States and has many years of experience in psychology teaching. In the teaching process, he found that most psychology textbooks could not introduce the research process as the basis of the subject in detail because of the limited space, so he compiled this book to fill the gap between the teaching materials and scientific research. After the book 1 was published in 1992, it received rave reviews and attracted much attention. Hawke, standing at the height of discipline development, surveyed the development course of psychological research, carefully screened out 40 studies that had the greatest influence on the development of psychology, were cited by many literatures and were still concerned, covering a wide range and introducing them in a comprehensive and detailed way.
