Li Qingyuan is the oldest recorded person in history. He was born in the 18th year of Qing Emperor Kangxi (1679) and died in the 24th year of the Republic of China (1935), and lived to be 257 years old.
Peng Zu, who is recorded in Mandarin and historical books, said that he lived for 800 years because there was no uniform standard for counting years in ancient China, so there was an error in the way of counting years.
