Qiongya Column is a people's armed force led by China's * * * production party in Hainan Island, which was established on the basis of1September, 927. Ma Baishan. Ma Baishan, a native of Chengmai, Hainan, 1927 secretly joined the China Producer Party in his hometown. During the Agrarian Revolution, he served as secretary of Macun branch of Chengmai county and secretary of An Baili district committee. After the outbreak of War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, Ma Baishan took part in War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression in his hometown. He has served as the deputy captain of the Guangdong People's Anti-Japanese Self-Defense CorpsNo. 14, the deputy commander of the independent column team, and the third captain.
