Wufengshan historical and cultural relics
There are rich historical and cultural relics in this area. The Guangxu edition of the Qing Dynasty's "Continued County Records" contains: "There are five peaks in the east of the county, towering thousands of pines and cypresses, deep and beautiful, born in different regions, and it is not honorable to transplant each other. The root is huge and sharp, shaped like a rhinoceros horn. It's like a human prone.

The so-called corner pillow flow in the old annals is one of the eight scenic spots in Ma County.

The spring of Notre Dame de Zhongfeng flowed from the statue, praying for rain.

Tong Zhiyun: Tianya is Tianya, and Wufeng is the ends of the earth. "The literati of the past dynasties came to Wufeng Mountain in an endless stream, leaving a lot of poems.

In the eighth year of Dazhong, he was appointed by Dr. Mao of imperial academy to visit Wufeng Mountain twice in ten years as the secretariat of Jianzhou, and wrote four quatrains: "Every time I recall Yunshan, I regret fame and fortune."

Ten years, how much is the bag, twice. "

Shouning Temple, built on the top of Zhongfeng Mountain, has a plaque hanging at the entrance of the mountain, "Five Holy Peaks".

The reception hall is three rooms wide and contains 45 Buddha statues since the Tang Dynasty.

There are also three Notre Dame halls, including six Notre Dame statues.

According to legend, the virgin was seated by a virtuous and kind woman who was in charge of the good weather and took a look at the mountain spring. Historically, there was a great drought in the plains, and many villagers came here to beg for rain, and many wonderful stories were circulated.

However, the scenery here is elegant and has become a tourist attraction for people to enjoy the great rivers and mountains.

In Shouning Temple, there is also the original work of Five Peaks of Huayu written by Emperor Kang of Qing Dynasty.

Shouning Temple was founded in an unknown age.

The inscription of Jiajing ten years in Ming Dynasty reads: "The layout of the upper, lower, left and right base sites is salty and orderly-rebuilt in the first year of Shunzhi and rebuilt in the tenth year of Hongwu." This stone tablet traces the recorded reconstruction time back to the Yuan Dynasty. When the Thousand-Buddha Hall was newly built last year, huge pillars of lotus petals and gray tiles from Sui and Tang Dynasties were excavated from the old site, which are the remains of this ancient temple after being destroyed by fire.

It can be concluded that the earliest time to build Shouning Temple should be in the late Sui and early Tang Dynasties at the latest.

According to legend, Michelle Ye, the fourth son of Fu Lin, the emperor shunzhi in Qing Dynasty, went to the frontier. When he lost the war, he was hungry and met a woman who helped him with food.

Michelle Ye felt his kindness and asked his address. The woman replied: Wufeng Mountain in Shanxi.

After Michelle Ye acceded to the throne, he sent someone to interview Wufeng Mountain. As a result, he saw a Notre Dame Cathedral in the East Wufeng Mountain in Ma County, only to know that the woman who helped in that year had already become a fairy.

Subsequently, a decree was issued and it was named "Our Lady of Golden Heaven". In early April, six parents went to worship.

Later, Emperor Kangxi ordered the horse county magistrate to offer sacrifices to the emperor on April 6 every year, and the Shouning Temple in Wufeng Mountain built a special official hall (now Luohantang, also known as the Three Halls) for offering sacrifices to the Virgin.

Lianjiagang Village outside Wufeng Mountain has Huiji Temple, a provincial key cultural relics protection unit.

The temple, which faces south, was built in the Tang Dynasty and rebuilt in the Song Dynasty. The building is complete, and the main hall was built in the Song Dynasty.

There are 10 pieces of colored clay sculptures of the Song Dynasty on the altar, with beautiful shapes and smooth lines. They are unique in the Song Dynasty colored sculptures in the central area of Wutai Mountain, and belong to the same genre as the Song Dynasty sculptures in Taiyuan Jinci. They are typical objects to study the art of Buddha statues outside Wutai Mountain.

There are more than 150 wood carvings of Song and Ming Dynasties in the main hall, with different postures and fine carvings.

There is a plaque hanging in the hall, which reads: "The Hall of Fame is towering and has been connected with the Sanqing legal circle; Tianxiang is ethereal, such as visiting Jiufu Temple. " Around Wufeng Mountain, it is a concentrated apricot producing area in Yuanping City.

In the ripe season of apricots, the aroma spreads ten miles, attracting many merchants from afar.
